| It's been a long time since I updated this thing. Not much news...Working a lot. Getting prepared to return to school. Joy. So...go to my myspace. myspace.com/bullseyetheamishmonk

| So, I'm sitting in philosophy class and we're talking about Islam and Hinduism and all sorts of stuff when one of the guys in class has a bright idea. He says, "Hey, umm...You think it would be a sin to make like a T-shirt that said something on it like, 'Islam is for dummies?'" Now, I'm thinking, "Ok...Mr. McKinney is really cool and should shut this down pretty fast." What I hear come from him actually ends up being, "Well...I wouldn't do it." The class laughs as though something about this was funny...And one girl turns around to him and says with her thumbs up, "Go right ahead with that T-shirt idea!" at the same time I'm trying to say, "It's not going to be effective." Where did all the sane people go? So the next day this guy is walking around with a shirt that says something along the lines of, "Islam is for dumbies." That's right, "...dumbies." And that, my friends, is what I like to call, "Poetic justice." |
